Pastor Raker, I can see from your sermons and Issues and Answers that you are a stickler for God’s word. I deeply appreciate your indepth preaching direct from His word and not caring whose toes you step on! Keep it up brother! Please pray for our small town of Shasta, CA as several churches are closing as attendance shrinks and others are torn apart by in fighting. Many people are quitting, some because they do not like being reminded of their sins, they want the music and their “ears tickled” by promises of forgiveness. Others are hungry for God’s word and they are starving at the modern churches who focus on music and feel-good sermons. My wife & I can almost feel the demons plugging up our churches and working on our neighbors. Your sermons are direct from His word and they may hurt, but they are true! Amen brother!, Amen! We now watch your sermons on YouTube and sometimes on your website. Our church only has 34 members, but we are dedicated to following the teachings of Jesus and God’s word. We have about a dozen who make their monthly appearance and a couple dozen more who come on Easter and Christmas. Many youth and young families will not come because they are bored and want more music. Like many young people, they want to be entertained. I just downloaded your bulletin and it is impressive! That’s all the entertainment I need in those colorful pages with a serious message and hard-hitting pictures. Are you broadcasting on TV? You should. You would be another Jerry Falwell. Anyway, I’ll stop rambling here. I just wanted to ask for prayer because I am scared for our town and our state as the Democrats are making war against God and trying to put in their own convoluted plans…which never work!
