Pastor Raker, I just wanted to write you a note of thanks. Without your sermons, I would not be here. I now understand that God has a plan for us and when it is darkest is when we need to pray hardest! I have met a guy in our church singles group and we have been dating for 4 months. We study the bible every Sunday night together since our church has no evening service during summer. My boyfriend (that feels weird, but it’s true!) has been reading a few of your Issues & Answers and taking them to the pastor with questions. He has helped us understand God’s will for us and everyone. We are learning so much in Bible study and from your sermons and articles! I feel God’s love for me now and know it would not be possible without your sermon that day. Thank you so much, Pastor Raker! I pray God blesses you with all you need to keep preaching His word because you are doing a really great job. I don’t know about others, but I appreciate you so much! Your message that night saved my life, or God did through you as that is what my Pastor said. He and his wife have been so supportive.
